LITIGATION BIO FOUND HERE
The courtroom has defined my professional life. Trials have driven my career. I live for the intensity, the preparation, the responsibility, and the privilege of standing up for others when it matters most. Being a trial lawyer isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.
I am not removed from this work. I am in it—every day.
I actively litigate complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases, including high-stakes matters where the outcomes carry real consequence for my clients and their families. I carry the same deadlines, client weight, and courtroom pressure that you do. Trial Lawyer Mama was not built after I left the profession. It was built because I live it—and want to help others find ways to sustain it – not quit it.
In 2018, I became a mother.
While I continued to push forward the same way I had before, as my children got older, something shifted. It required me to become more intentional—to get clear on what truly mattered, and to define my purpose not just as a lawyer, a mother, a spouse, or an individual, but across all the roles I play.
My identity expanded, but the profession didn’t offer much guidance for how to grow into all the roles at once. I was no longer choosing between these identities—I was learning how to be a high-achieving at all of it, simultaneously.
That meant learning how to operate differently. Not by doing more, but by becoming more aligned. By understanding my values, setting boundaries, and making decisions that reflected how I want to show up—both in the courtroom and at home.
That process—of getting clear, getting aligned, and building a way to sustain all roles—became the foundation for this work.
Throughout almost two decades of being a trial lawyer, I found myself drawn to mentoring and supporting other women lawyers. I led the Colorado Women’s Trial Lawyer Network for eight years, alongside an incredible group of women, creating space for connection, growth, and honest conversation.
Through that work, I saw clearly what I had once felt quietly myself: this struggle is shared. Add children into the mix, and the pressure to perform at the highest level while carrying the mental, emotional, and logistical weight of motherhood is not a personal failure—it is a systemic reality.
Trial Lawyer Mama was created to acknowledge that truth.
This is a space where women don’t have to explain the duality of their lives. Where ambition is understood, motherhood is respected, and both identities are allowed to exist fully. It is rooted in empowerment, mentorship, and community—because thriving in this profession is not about doing it alone.
You don’t need to leave the work, and you don’t need to become less.
You need alignment, intention, and a way to sustain both.
